No, extension cables must not be used with MSpa products. MSpa pumps are equipped with a 3.5 m (11.5') power cable, with the plug included, which is typically sufficient to reach the nearest grounded socket with GFCI protection.
If the cable is not long enough, we recommend hiring a qualified electrician to install a properly grounded outdoor socket with GFCI protection.
