No, extension cables must not be used with MSpa products. MSpa pumps are equipped with a 5.1 m (16.7') power cable, which is typically sufficient to reach the nearest grounded socket with RCD protection.
If the cable is not long enough, we recommend hiring a qualified electrician to install a properly grounded outdoor socket with RCD protection.
The socket used for the hot tub must be grounded and located at least 4 m (13.1') away from the spa, at a minimum height of 1.2 m (3.94') above the ground.
