The F1 error code usually indicates a filtration issue. Extra air in the filtration pipe or possible dirt & blockage from the inlet/outlet will cause F1 error. Please follow below general troubleshooting guide to see whether the F1 error will disappear or if further support is needed to replace the control box motor.
Step 1: Place the spa on flat, even ground. Make sure the water is filled above the minimum level.
Step 2: Tighten the secondary water inlet if it is loose.

Step 3: Press the FILTER + UP buttons simultaneously to manually activate a 100-second self-cleaning cycle.
Step 4: Replace the filter cartridge if it remains dirty or discolored after cleaning.

Step 5: Long press any button on the remote control to cancel the F1 error.
